Peace TV is an Islamic satellite television network, which is broadcast globally
24/7 from Mumbai, India.[1] Approximately 75% of Peace TV programs are in English,
the remaining are in Urdu and Hindi languages. All of them are telecasted 'Free
to Air'. Since January 21, 2006, Peace TV channel has been telecasted to a great
number of countries around the world, including in Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia
and North America.[2][3] The founder and president of Peace TV is Dr. Zakir Naik,
who is a student of comparative religion from Mumbai, India. The network covers
live events[4], lecturing programs for adults and youths, as well as children learning
shows. Its president, Dr. Zakir Naik, often calls it an "edutainment channel".
